Total of Seven People Killed in Two Separate Road Accidents in East China

A total of seven people Wednesday morning were killed and another five injured in two separate traffic accidents in this capital of east China's Zhejiang Province.

A total of seven people Wednesday morning were killed and another five injured in two separate traffic accidents in this capital of east China's Zhejiang Province.

Both accidents happened on the east section of the loop-line road encompassing the city.

At 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a five-truck pile-up killed four people and seriously injured one, according to police.

The accident caused heavy traffic jams on the section and led to a 2 km line of cars half an hour later when another truck plowed into the last truck in the line, causing the second pile-upof three trucks, in which three were killed and two injured.

The injured people have all been sent to local hospitals and are in stable condition.
