Billionaire in Lanzhou Shot Dead

Billionaire Liu Enqian and his family members were taken hostage in Lanzhou, capital city of Northwest China's Gansu Province, August 17, 2003. The unidentified gunman turned the gun on himself after killing Liu, president of Changqing Real Estate Co. Ltd. The Lanzhou Public Security Bureau did not reveal the cause of the shooting.
