B2B Channel for Chinese, Japanese Manufacturers Launched

A business-to-business web channel specializing in providing information services for small and midsize metal processing and manufacturing businesses in China and Japan was inaugurated here Wednesday.

A business-to-business web channel specializing in providing information services for small and midsize metal processing and manufacturing businesses in China and Japan was inaugurated here Wednesday.

"The Information Network for Manufacturers (ncnc.china.com) will create more business opportunities for Chinese and Japanese companies in the manufacturing sector, and thereby promote economic cooperation between the two countries," said Kazuhiko Nakamura, general manager of NC Network China Inc.

The new network is a joint venture between Chinadotcom Corp.(china.com), the first Chinese IT company listed on the NASDAQ, andthe Shanghai-based NC Network China Inc., founded by three Japanese companies. More than 20 Chinese and Japanese companies have signed up for the services of the new network since its pilot operation started Aug. 1.
