Chinese Foreign Minister Meets Romanian Counterpart

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and his Romanian counterpart Mircea Geoana Wednesday exchanged views on bilateral ties and international issues of common concern during their meeting in Beijing.

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and his Romanian counterpart Mircea Geoana Wednesday exchanged views on bilateral ties and international issues of common concern during their meeting in Beijing.

The two foreign ministers noted with satisfaction that, promoted by the leaders of the two countries, China and Romania have seen a smooth development of bilateral ties, together with fruitful cooperation.

They agreed the friendly bilateral relations have entered a newstage, and the two countries support each other on issues of common concern, and the foreign ministries of the two countries have maintained a good cooperative relationship, and established acommunication and consultation mechanism.

The two ministers vowed that both sides would faithfully implement agreements and consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, promote bilateral all-round cooperation in various fields, and consolidate coordination in multilateral and international organizations.
