China is satisfied with its cooperation with Djibouti in politics, economy and culture, said Chinese Vice-President Zeng Qinghong here Wednesday, hailing the mutual support in international affairs.
Zeng spoke at a meeting with Ali Abdi Farah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Relations with the Parliament of Djibouti.
The friendship between China and Djibouti boasts a long history,said the vice-president, noting that the Sino-Djibouti friendly ties had witnessed healthy and sustained expansion since the two established diplomatic relations in 1979.
While extending appreciation for Djibouti's adherence to the one-China policy, Zeng stressed that China will continue to cooperate with Djibouti in various fields and lift the mutual friendship to a higher level.
Farah said China had offered sincere assistance to his country since Djibouti won independence, which his government and people valued very much.
Extending the willingness to enhance its friendly cooperative ties with China, the minister said Djibouti would continue to firmly adhere to the one-China policy.
