Foreign Coach to be Commander-in-chief for 2008 Olympic Football Team

The Chinese Football Association will invite a foreign coach to take up the dual heavy responsibilities of technical director and general coach for the young football players ready for taking part in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

As revealed Yang Yiming, Deputy-director general of the Chinese Football Association on August 20, the Chinese Football Association will invite a foreign coach to take up the dual heavy responsibilities of technical director and general coach for the young football players ready for taking part in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

The program for setting up the team for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games has been decided, expressed Yang Yiming. The football players will be chosen out from the age group born in 1985 - 86 for forming a hopeful team of 50 persons for participating the 2008 Olympic Games. At the same time the next step the CFA to take is to find out a foreign coach who is well experienced and well informed of the Chinese conditions. In the meantime when the foreign coach is to take up the post as technical director general he must lead the hopeful football team forward to go all out for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
