One more person died Saturday afternoon from a commercial building accident that occurred early Friday night in Yiyang County of east China's Jiangxi Province, bringing the death toll to two.

Twenty-eight others were injured in the accident, when the guardrail on the second floor of the Fuhua Department Store in the county seat suddenly broke at around 8 p.m. Friday. More than 30 people who crowded near the guardrail to watch a motorcycle promotional show fell off the building to the ground.

Local police and a dozen medical experts immediately rushed to the site to rescue the injured people.

The show, hosted by the Qianrong Motorcycle Group's marketing company, had not been approved by local authorities, said an official from the Yiyang County Information Office.

All the injured are receiving medical treatment in hospital.

Investigation into the accident is still under way.
