Suspected Armed Robbers In Southwest China Arrested

Police in Jinghong City of China'sYunnan Province have arrested four suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery and the murder of two people.

Police in Jinghong City of China'sYunnan Province have arrested four suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery and the murder of two people.

On Friday afternoon, the four allegedly robbed a local farm of 1.58 million yuan (191,000 US dollars), killing an accountant on the spot. Previously, the suspects allegedly murdered a truck driver and used the truck for the robbery.

Local police said that three of the suspects were arrested on Saturday night in Kunming, capital city of Yunnan, with the other accomplice arrested in Jinghong.

The four suspects had confessed to their crimes, said the police.
