A seminar for Vietnamese youth cadres opened Sunday in the Youth College of Shenzhen City in south China's Guangdong Province.

A seminar for Vietnamese youth cadres opened Sunday in the Youth College of Shenzhen City in south China's Guangdong Province.

Sponsored by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL), the seminar aims to enhance understanding andfriendship between young people of the two countries.

An opening ceremony was held Sunday, with the presence of Hu Wei, secretary of the secretariat of the CCYL Central Committee and his Vietnamese counterpart.

Organizers said that the 46 attendees of the seminar were mainly cadres from the central committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam, adding that two such seminars will be heldthis year, with each lasting for 30 days.
