China to Play Soccer Friendly Against MetroStars
Chinese national soccer team will play the American MetroStars in an exhibition game at Giant Stadium at Secaucus, New Jersey, on September 9.

Chinese national soccer team will play the American MetroStars in an exhibition game at Giant Stadium at Secaucus, New Jersey, on September 9.
"China is an emerging nation in soccer and this will be a good showcase for our fans," MetroStars president and general manager Nick Sakiewicz said.
China last played at the Giants Stadium in 1977 in an exhibition against the Cosmos.
The last clash between China and the
United States
was on January 27, 2001, when China lost 2-1 to the US team.
