Sierra Leone Foreign Minister Reiterates One-China Policy
Chinese Vice Premier Huang Ju expressed appreciation over Sierra Leone's adherence to the one-China policy during his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Momodu Koroma from Sierra Leone Monday afternoon.

Huang said China and Sierra Leone had continuously expanded their friendly cooperation since the two countries established diplomatic ties more than 30 years ago, adding that China and African countries shared traditional friendship.
Huang also briefed the guests about China's opening-up and economic reform. He said that under the new international situation, consolidating and enhancing Sino-Sierra Leone friendship was in line with the interests of the two peoples. China's new leadership would continue to cooperate with the SierraLeone government so as to push forward friendly bilateral relations, Huang said.
Koroma thanked the Chinese government and people for their support and help, saying that Sierra Leone was willing to intensify cooperation with China.
Sierra Leone would continue to stick to the one-China policy, he emphasized.
