Huang Zhaojun, an officer in Yongnian County of north China's Hebei Province has been expelled from the Party and his official post after violating China's family planning policy.

Huang, 51, deputy head of the Xiaolongma Township government of Yongnian county fathered seven children from 1979 to 1989 in violation of population and family planning laws that permit only one child.

Huang's second child was male but died at the age of five. He fathered another five daughters before his wife conceived a son, and falsified residence registration for the children.

Guo Jianzhang, an official in charge of discipline inspection in Yongnian County said China implemented the population and family planning policy more than 20 years ago. It was rare to see an official completely ignore the policy and follow traditional practices that insist a man must produce a son.
