Bomb Blast Injures 10 in Pakistan

At least 10 persons were injured, five of them in critical condition, when a bomb exploded in a passenger bus in the southern city of Hyderabad in Sindh province on Saturday, police said.

At least 10 persons were injured, five of them in critical condition, when a bomb exploded in a passenger bus in the southern city of Hyderabad in Sindh province on Saturday, police said.

The device was planted under a seat in the front portion of the bus, which was to move towards its destination at Kandiaro, district Naushero Feroze, the police said.

All the injured were rushed to local hospital, where five of them were discharged after receiving first aid.

No one has claimed responsibility and the police has so far notarrested any suspect.

A provincial minister and local officials, who rushed to the site of the blast and supervised the rescue operation, termed the incident as an act of terrorism and vowed to book the culprits at the earliest.
