China Eastern Airlines Co. Ltd has founded its first branch in Lanzhou, the capital city of northwestern Gansu province, also the airline's first new branch since its reshaping.

The Gansu Branch of China Eastern, based in Lanzhou city, now boasts four Airbus A320 planes and four B-146 planes, and has developed more than 20 domestic routes, one regional route and one international route to nearly 30 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Japan's Fukuoka.
