Senior CPC Official Meets Indian Communist Party Delegation
Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met with Udhab Barman, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), and his delegation Thursday.

Liu, also a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said the strengthening of relations between the CPC andthe Communist Party of India (Marxist) as well as between China and India will help to contribute to peace and development of Asiaand of the world at large.
Barman said China's development is an inspiration to the peopleof India and to other developing countries across the world.
He stressed the "Three Represents" theory put forward by the CPC is enlightening to the Communist Party of India (Marxist). Thetwo parties should strengthen exchanges and cooperation to contribute to the relations between the two countries.
The Indian delegation began its visit to China Tuesday at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC.
