Zhou Bohua Appointed Acting Governor of Hunan Province

Zhou Bohua was appointed acting governor of Hunan Province, central China, at the first session ofthe Standing Committee of the Tenth Provincial People's Congress Monday.

Zhou Bohua was appointed acting governor of Hunan Province, central China, at the first session ofthe Standing Committee of the Tenth Provincial People's Congress Monday.

Zhou, a native of Hunan born in 1948, joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1970 and acquired master's degree at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.

Before the appointment, Zhou served as deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and deputy governor of the province.
