China to Stage Forestry Products Trade Fair

A forestry products trade fair will be staged on April 22-25 in the city of Heze in east China's Shandong Province.

A forestry products trade fair will be staged on April 22-25 in the city of Heze in east China's Shandong Province.

The fair, the first of its kind in the country, will be held at the International Conference and Exhibition Center in Heze and provide some 800 standard exhibition booths, sources with the organizing committee said.

More than 13,000 forestry products dealers from China and overseas have registered to attend the fair.

A variety of products, including plank materials, furniture, wood pulp, trees, flowers and some advanced forestry technologies will be exhibited and traded during the four-day event.

In addition, the fair will exhibit some 500 planned projects, 200 of which are related to forestry products, with the objective of attracting investment.
