Hong Kong-based property developer Hutchison Whampoa has announced it will build luxurious villa compounds in Chongqing Municipality, the booming economic center of west China.
Hong Kong-based property developer Hutchison Whampoa has announced it will build luxurious villa compounds in Chongqing Municipality, the booming economic center of west China.
The villas, modeling those in Californian coastal areas in the United States, will be constructed in two phases with an estimated investment totaling 500 million yuan (60 million US dollars), the company said.
Hutchison Whampoa's property operation has spread widely across the Chinese mainland and also in overseas regions, including UK, Japan, Singapore and the Bahamas.
