Giant Pandas to Leave China for Vienna

Chinese Observer in Kuwait

A Chinese observer of the United Nations Iraq-Kuwait Observer Mission (UNIKOM) carries out an observation task at a post in northern Kuwait near the border with Iraq March 12, 2003. Due to a possible US war on Iraq, a number of civilian members and observers of the UNIKOM withdrew to Kuwait City from the demilitarized zone between Kuwait and Iraq March 9 and 12.
