Roh Moo-hyun to Nominate New Prosecutor General

South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun may nominate a new prosecutor general as early as Tuesday to replace Kim Kak-young who resigned Sunday after a highly-charged confrontation between the prosecution and the president.

South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun may nominate a new prosecutor general as early as Tuesday to replace Kim Kak-young who resigned Sunday after a highly-charged confrontation between the prosecution and the president.

The planned reshuffle of senior prosecutors, initially set for Monday, has subsequently been postponed.
