Kocharian Reelected Armenian President

Armenian President Robert Kocharian was reelected on Thursday after a run-off vote in the country's presidential elections, reports from the Armenian capital of Yerevan said.

Armenian President Robert Kocharian was reelected on Thursday after a run-off vote in the country's presidential elections, reports from the Armenian capital of Yerevan said.

The electoral commission announced that with votes counted in 99 percent of all the polling stations, Kocharian won 67.5 percentof the votes, way ahead of opposition leader Stepan Demirchyan whogot 32.5 percent.
