Beijing Ducks Ease past Jiangsu Dragons in CBA League
The Beijing Ducks eased past the Jiangsu Dragons 111-95 in a match of the 23nd round of the 2002-2003 season Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League in Beijing on Sunday.

Jiao Jian scored 32 points to lead the Ducks, who climbed to the ninth place on the table with their third straight home victory. Americans Friend Kimani and Christopher Herren added 25 and 19 points respectively for the hosts.
It was close early in the game but the Ducks pulled away with five straight three-pointers in the second quarter and built up a 17-point lead at the half time, at 59-42.
The Dragons, who were playing without their top scorer Zhang Cheng, struggled in the second half but never got their deficit under 14 points.
Zhang did not visit Beijing with the Dragons due to an ankle injury.
The Ducks made 12 three-pointers out of 26 attempts while the Dragons were 3-for-16 from the arch.
