Israel, Turkey and US Naval Exercise

Israeli navy's marines operate in the control room of the missile cruiser Romah during a joint search and rescue exercise coded as Reliant Mermaid in the international waters off the Israeli coastline Jan. 1, 2002. This has been the fifth exercise held by navies of Israel, Turkey and the United States since 1998. Six warships of the three navies and their helicopters participated in the 24-hour exercise.
