China to Hold Int'l Manufacturing Information Expo

China's Ministry of Science and Technology announced Friday that it will organize an international expo on manufacturing information from July 20 to August 2 in Dongguan, Guangdong Province.

China's Ministry of Science and Technology announced Friday that it will organize an international expo on manufacturing information from July 20 to August 2 in Dongguan, Guangdong Province.

Li Jian, director of the ministry's department of high technology development and industrialization, said that the "ChinaInternational Manufacturing Information Expo" might spread the advanced technology and similar products in the country.

The expo is expected to show the country's strategy, guidelines and key projects in the field, as well as latest products and new solutions.

Meanwhile, the ministry will organize forums, lectures and talks.

Organizers estimate that about 500 business firms and more than 50,000 experts or business representatives will participate in theexpo.
