The accident also wounded eight soldiers, two with life-threatening injuries, the Defense Ministry said Thursday.
The Canadian troops were on a live-fire training exercise 14 kilometers south of their base in Kandahar when an American

The soldiers belonged to the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Battle Group (3 PPCLI).
"Planning for the evacuation of the killed and wounded is now underway," the sources said.
