Twelve Killed in Traffic Accident in NW China

Twelve people were killed and another 12 were injured Wednesday morning when a bus rolled over in the Yan'an section of the 210 national highway, in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

Twelve people were killed and another 12 were injured Wednesday morning when a bus rolled over in the Yan'an section of the 210 national highway, in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

Police sources said that the bus was carrying 24 people, including one driver and 23 passengers, from Yan'an City to Mizhi County when it rolled over after hitting a big rock and then plunged 12.4 meters into a valley.

Local government officials and rescue people rushed to the site right after the accident occurred.
