Israel Arrest Top Wanted Palestinian Militants in West Bank

Among the arrestees is Nasser Ewais, a senior activist of the Palestinian mainstream Fatah movement, added the sources.
The Israeli special unit arrested Ewais in the village of Tubas,east of the West Bank town of Nablus, upon his surrender after the troops surrounded the building in which he was hiding.
No one was injured during the Israeli operation.
Three more Fatah activists were nabbed. They are Mohammed Khader, a senior Fatah member in the Nablus area, and Khader, suspected of involving in a large number of attacks, said Israel Radio.
Ewais is head of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an armed wing of the Fatah, in the Balata refugee camp, Israeli security sources said, quoted by the radio, adding that he disappeared from the campseveral weeks ago.
The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has claimed responsibility for a series of suicide bombings against Israel, including Friday's attack in Jerusalem which killed six Israelis.
The "Operation of Defensive Wall" of the Israeli army continued on Saturday as tanks and troops swept into two Palestinian towns and a village around the northern West Bank town of Jenin.
A Palestinian security spokesman said that 60 armed vehicles entered Arabeh village, south of Jenin, where they imposed a curfew.
