Army to Host International Medical Equipment Show

An international exhibition on medical equipment, China Med 2002, will be held in Beijing from April 10 to 13. More than 400 medical equipment manufacturers and dealers from 16 countries and regions in the world are scheduled to participate in the exhibition.

An international exhibition on medical equipment, China Med 2002, will be held in Beijing from April 10 to 13.

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Logistics Departmentand China International Trade Center Co., Ltd. will jointly sponsor the exhibition, the largest ever held in China.

The organizers said that more than 400 medical equipment manufacturers and dealers from 16 countries and regions in the world are scheduled to participate in the exhibition.

Exhibits will include electronic apparatus, x-ray and ultrasonic machines, optical equipment, biochemical test machines,dental and health care equipment.

The organizers invited professionals from more than 100 medicalscientific academies and hospitals to visit the exhibition. Meanwhile, lectures and symposia will also be organized during theexhibition.

China has organized the medical equipment exhibition since 1989.
