Seoul, Pyongyang Agree to Resume Inter-korean Talks

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and South Korea have agreed to resume stalled inter-korean dialogue, South Korean special presidential envoy Lim Dong-Won said Saturday.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and South Korea have agreed to resume stalled inter-korean dialogue, South Korean special presidential envoy Lim Dong-Won said Saturday.

Lim told a news conference after his return from a three-day trip to Pyongyang that the two sides had agreed to "fully revive the North-South rapprochement".

In a joint statement issued by the two sides, Seoul and Pyongyang "agreed to bring back on track the inter-Korean relations that had temporarily been frozen".
