Senior CPC Official Meets Mongolian Guests

China and Mongolia agreed to strengthen the cooperation between the ruling parties of the two countries Wednesday.

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said that the CPC and Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP) should develop cooperation to push forward Sino-Mongolian relations in a stable and healthy way.

Wei Jianxing, a standing committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, told visiting MPRP Chairman Nambaryn Enkhbayar that China attached importance to Sino- Mongolian relations and adhered to a good-neighbor policy towards Mongolia.

He noted that China and Mongolia had expanded cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields in recent years.

Nambaryn Enkhbayar said that Mongolia and China had maintained long-term friendly relations, and the contacts between the MPRP and the CPC had played an important role in the relations between the two states.

He said that the MPRP agreed with the CPC's view on promoting contacts, and was ready to enhance cooperation between Mongolia and China in all fields.
