Two men convicted of separate cases of assaults against women were executed by the No.1 Intermediate People's Court of Beijing Wednesday.
Niu Shunli, a 43-year old jobless resident in the city, assaulted 23 young women and robbed valuables worth over 15,400 yuan (some 2,000 U.S. dollars).
Niu was also convicted on charges of attempted rape.
According to court records, Xin Baojun, a 44-year old farmer from Fengtai District of Beijing, became acquainted with a woman surnamed Zhang via a local marriage agent, and later murdered her and stole 3,000 yuan-worth of her personal property.
