PLA Chief of General Staff Leaves on Four-Nation Tour
Fu Quanyou, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), left Beijing Friday for a goodwill visit to South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, and Kenya.

Fu, also a member of the Central Military Commission, is invited by Chief of the South African National Defense Force Gen. Siphiwe Nyanda, Minister of Defence of Zambia Joshua Simuyandi, Commander of the People's Defense Forces of Tanzania Gen. George Marwa Waitara, and Chief of General Staff of Kenya Gen. Joseph Kibwana.
