Monthly hi-tech products export in southeast China's Zhejiang province has for the first time hit 100 million US dollars , latest customs statistics show.

Statistics indicate the October export volume has increased by ninety percent than the same period last year.

The provincial cumulative export volume for the first 10 months is 19.08 billion US dollars, an increase of 38 percent and 13.6 percentage point more than the country's average.

Hi-tech products export increase exceeds that of the province's overall export by 18.3 percentage point.

Experts said Zhejiang's increasing technological input and preferential policies have attracted a number of multinational companies.

Motorola for instance has moved its CDMA production lines to Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang. Motorola Hangzhou has doubled its first 10-month export volume at 0.21 billion US dollars.

Close to 4,400 enterprises in Zhejiang have acquired rights to deal foreign trade, over 80 percent of which are non-state-run.
