Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Thursday that China wishes India and Nepal could solve their territory disputes on Kalapani through friendly consultations and negotiations.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Thursday that China wishes India and Nepal could solve their territory disputes on Kalapani through friendly consultations and negotiations.
The spokeswoman made the remarks at a regular press conference when asked to brief on China's stand on the issue.
She said China has noticed the territory dispute on Kalapani between India and Nepal.
Both India and Nepal are friendly neighbors of China, she said. China wishes they could solve the disputes through consultations and talks, so as to seek a fair and rational solution.
