Visiting Pakistani President general Pervez Musharraf said Islamabad and Paris share a "total unanimity of views" on the fight against terrorism.

Pakistan and France agree on the necessity to find a political solution to the Afghan crisis and long-term responses to the terrorism in the wake of the lasting military operations, Musharraf told a press conference following his meeting with French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin on Thursday morning.

France is determined to make all efforts to help Pakistan to overcome its economic difficulties, said Musharraf who told Jospin that Pakistan hopes that creditors nations will alleviate its debts and Europe will open its market wider to Pakistani products.

On his part, Jospin welcomed the courage and the vision of the Pakistani president who has chosen to stand in line with the international anti-terrorist coalition, according to the entourage of the French premier.
