New Zealand PM John Key meets with Chairman Wang Zongnan

On April 9, Mr. John Phillip Key, prime minister of New Zealand, led a delegation to visit Shanghai. Mr. Wang Zongnan, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. who accompanied by Mr. Guo Benheng, President of Bright Dairy, had a cordial talk with Key as one of the entrepreneur representatives.

Wang had a friendly talk with Key. Bright Dairy, part of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd., has successfully acquired Synlait Milk of New Zealand, which is the first step of overseas merger and acquisition of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. and a key move for cooperation of dairy industry between China and New Zealand. The achievements prove that the attempts of integration, coordination and control by Bright Dairy are effective. Such experience lays a sound foundation for overseas development of Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd. It also seeks further cooperation with New Zealand positively.

Key said that China is an important partner of New Zealand and the in-depth cooperation in trade, education, tourism and other fields between the two countries has gained great success. Moreover, the mutual cooperation still has considerable potential. New Zealand keeps sincere communication and builds mutually-reliable partnership with China. China’s rise provides opportunities for the development of New Zealand and New Zealand will grasp the opportunities and speed up its development. New Zealand boasts of rich natural and commercial resources which will be the fields for future cooperation between the two countries. It looks forward to better understand and have cooperation with Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd.
