Chinese Consulate-General in San Francisco replaced the national emblem damaged in the arson attack with a new one on Jan. 9, 2013.
The Consulate-General was burnt by a 39-year-old arsonist on Jan. 1, 2014. The front gate and the national emblem were severely damaged in the fire. A temporary gate was also installed on Jan. 5, 2014.
