Make Pu'er city a real 'Coffee Capital of China' (2)

In other words, Pu'er should not only develop itself as a planting capital but also build itself into a capital of the coffee industry. This is also the meanings of the so-called "real coffee capital". For this, Pu'er must set leapfrog development ideas and actively surpass itself based on achievements already made by the coffee industry instead of resting on the achievements, so as to create miracles and keep moving toward the upstream of the industrial chain.

Moreover, Pu'er should deepen the development strategy of "going out" and "bringing in" to keep promoting Pu'er coffee to the international market, build the Pu'er coffee brand and introduce Pu'er coffee to the outside world. In particular, Pu'er should pay attention to the combination of product quality with industrial culture so as to develop Pu'er coffee into a model for food safety and catering culture. At the same time, Pu'er should intensify its cooperation with enterprises with great strength and strong competitiveness and rely on these external forces to make intensive processing of Pu'er coffee bigger and stronger and thus attain leap forward of the industrial chain.

Furthermore, Pu'er should position its coffee development from an overall perspective and further deepen the meanings of a "real coffee capital". It can take this opportunity to turn Pu'er coffee industry into a pillar for building the national green economy experiment and demonstration zone and enable Pu'er agriculture to make a solid step forward toward modernization. Therefore, Pu'er coffee does not mean development of a single industry, instead, it serves as a driving force for the development of green economy and modern agriculture. A real "Coffee Capital of China" means leapfrog of industrial development, creation of cultural atmosphere and most importantly coordinated progress of economic society. In this sense, Pu'er coffee shoulders great responsibilities and has a long way to go, and thus its enhancement at the levels of both ideals and practices is imperative.
