Controversial audition of 'blind date with rich' held in E China's Jinan (10)

"It all matters - the woman's looks, her figure, temperament, height and weight. The criteria are very detailed, because for people with assets worth 5 million to 100 million yuan, a spouse is like a part of their business card - being pretty is just not enough."

"Rich blind date", which had caused widespread controversy in major cities in China, brings a mass audition in east China’s Jinan on June 6, 2013. It is reported that a total of 1,300 women entered and only 50 will come to the final audition on an island in July.

The first round of audition tracked down the candidate's basic information, including full name, age and educational background. Tests of life skills and psychological test were also conducted to find out candidates’ attitude towards life and marriage. Candidates would receive a background checks at the second round of interviews. Their ID cards, jobs, living conditions and parents’

The organizers would take photos and shoot a short VCR for the women who "survived" the two rounds. And the candidates to the final audition were required to prepare a pre-marital medical examination before they go to blind date with the rich on an island. All costs are sponsored by a club, which specially search for potential wives for some of China's richest bachelors.
