As for antibiotics, the Ministry of Agriculture of China has strict provisions on the use of veterinary drugs in poultry farming but a few illegal practitioners may not use the veterinary drugs in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture, leading to residue of antibiotics. The abuses of antibiotics can only be solved by investigation and control departments.

In addition, the antibiotics are not cheap and the excessive use of them will not necessarily make more money for bosses of chicken farms.
