DPRK stages group calisthenics performance 'Arirang' (2)

The large-scale group calisthenics performance "Arirang" of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will be staged in Pyongyang from August 1st.

"Arirang", performed by 100,000 children, teenagers and professional actors.

The performance has been staged hundreds of times since its debut in 2002, drawing more than 12 million spectators, including 118,000 foreigners. The performance depicts a historic event to display how the DPRK people fight for happiness and peace.

Arirang, which boasts permanent vitality and gorgeous artistic form, is the cultural legacy of the DPRK and the world at large.
