Students perform calligraphy in a famous Beijing park (5)

A prize awarding ceremony for the calligraphy competition for students in primary and secondary schools in Beijing was held on May 27 in the Working People's Cultural Palace, a famous park which used to be the ancestral temple for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to offer sacrifices to their ancestors. After the ceremony, students staged calligraphy performances.
