Li Jingchun, a 58-year-old farmer living in Changbai town of Shenyang, the capital city of northeast China's Liaoning province, spent two years and more than 40,000 yuan making a passenger aircraft by himself.
Li's hand-made plane, mostly made of recycled iron plates, is about five meters long, four meters wide and weighs nearly one ton.
Currently, the plane has been taking shape, and Li begun to work on the interior trimming.
