Guiyang City experiences extensive snowfall (3)

Pedestrians walk in snow in Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province, Jan. 4, 2012. Guiyang experienced on Wednesday an extensive snowfall due to a strong cold air from the north. The provincial meteorological observatory of Guizhou reported sleet and light snow in most parts of the province and heavy snow in some areas in the east and the north. Sleet or icy rain will hit most parts of Guizhou from Wednesday night to Thursday, said the observatory. (Xinhua/Ou Dongqu)
