Chinese scientist presented "America's Nobel" (2)

Chinese Pharmacologist Tu Youyou(C) is greeted before speaking at the awarding ceremony of Lasker Award in New York, the United States, Sept. 23, 2011. The Chinese scientist was presented Lasker Award, a prestigious U.S. award, on Friday for the discovery of artemisinin, a drug therapy for malaria that has saved millions of lives across the globe, especially in the developing world.
