A four-member filmmaking group has arrived in Donghai recently to make a documentary film for a CCTV-10 program called "Geography & China." The film illustrates how Donghai become the crystal county of China by analyzing its specific geological landform, and the Donghai people's path of making wealth through crystal jewelries.

The scene shoot will last for seven days, passing through Niushan, Quyang and Fangshan, three villages abound with crystal resources. The filming also involves the mining process of quartz mine fields, the purchase and sale of raw crystal and processing. Besides, the film crew will also include geology experts to add some scientific appeal.
